The standard CRM functionality allows you to see the error rows, see the errors that caused the line failure, and export the failed rows so that you can rework and re-import.
Without the error codes, it is a painful, manual process to determine which rows require attention and why. When the error rows are exported, CRM exports all error rows, regardless of the reason.
When you are working with a large set of data, you would like to know which rows need your attention and for what reason.
For example, you may have 5000 failure rows, 750 of which failed due to a Lookup reference not found(Account or Contact), 400 of which failed due to the failure duplicate reference found and 300 of which failed due to data conflicts or other reasons. Moreover the export is in a CSV format and in many cases data conversion does not result in the format where it can be easily worked upon for re-import.
